David Rawlings

David Rawlings is known for his work as both a singer and a guitarist. For the majority of his songs he collaborates with fellow singer and guitarist Gillian Welch. His intricate fingerpicking style on his guitars, often played with a pick and combined with the distinctive qualities of his voice, and innovative song arrangements have earned Rawlings the reputation as one of the most innovative and leading figures in modern folk music. He has released solo albums, including Poor David's Almanack (2017) and All the Good Times (Are Past & Gone) (2020). He has also produced and played for many other musicians.
