Michelle Buteau is back on the road this year with a brand-new show. Surviving and Thriving is the name of the tour. Expect to be filled with bits from her daily life with her unique comedic style, where she just tells it like it is. You can agree or disagree with what Michelle Buteau's got to say, but you can tell that it's real talk. She believes what she's saying; something must've happened for her to look at things a certain way. When you really dive deep into that, you realize comedians must live some rather bizarre lives!
In any case, Michelle Buteau is bringing her talents to Seattle's Moore Theater on Thursday, December 11th. This show could be a perfect excuse to come out with your girlfriends for an outing right before things get hectic as we move into the holidays. At the same time, the set can see a lot of tweaks from now until you get a chance to see Michelle Buteau take the stage on Thursday, December 11th. Having said this, we could take some creative liberties, and guess what you're going to see from Michelle on this date. Michelle's got a busy life, and it's amazing how she manages to hit the road. Her show Survival of the Thickest season II is still rolling, she's taking care of twins Hazel & Otis. That chaos that she's a part of is what inspires these live shows, for sure!
If you were hoping for the traditional comedy show with a man on a stool, this is not going to be the event for you! One of the best things about Michelle Buteau is that she has this refreshing energy. She's up there talking about anything and everything with a smile on her face. It's one of those "chill" upbeat performances, not like some other comedians who want to force you to laugh with their fake smiles. In a way, you're having a coffee with a friend. That's what this show is like. That's why you really ought to bring your girlfriends to this experience.
Speaking of coffee, you're going to be able to find the drink in one of the many concession stands within this venue. It's the Pacific Northwest, after all! It would be sacrilegious not to serve coffee. You can also find some stronger drinks at these stands. What you also want to do is have a seat toward the middle of the venue, quite a few rows removed from the stage, hopefully near an exit. That's going to give you the best viewing experience, with a nice exit route to find anything that you might need outside the main theater during the show.
