Still, the ensemble is led by founder David Harrington, and he currently performs with longtime members John Shebra, Hunk Dutt, and current cellist Paul Wiancko.

Two years later, they secured the Rolf Schock Prize from the Royal Swedish Academy of Music for Musical Arts in Music. In 2019, they won the Oeuvreprijs Award at Edison Classical Music Awards.
Since 1979, Kronos Quartet has released countless studio albums. Last 2022, they released their latest effort, My Lai, featuring music composed by Jonathan Berge and libretto by Harriet Scott Chessman.
