Back in the early 90s, friends Ricky Muñoz and René Martínez started a dream, and that is to showcase their unique music to the world stage. Introducing the mix of Tejano conjunto music, norteño folk rhythms, pop ballads, and rock was a vision brought into reality when they established a group of musicians that would soon be called "Intocable." Literally translated as "Untouchables," the group released their debut album in 1993. Although the album did not give them the superstardom they were hoping for, it paved the way for more albums over the years.

It was their 1999 monumental album, "Contigo (With You," which made them a household name. From then on, Intocable was unstoppable in dominating the regional Mexican music scene. With several hit songs like "Dame Un Besito," "Robarte un Beso," "Te Amo (Para Siempre)," "Eres Mi Droga," "Enséñame a Olvidarte," "Sueña," "Contra Viento y Marea," "Llueve," and "Prometí," the band captured to hearts of fans not only in Mexico but in many Latin communities all around the world.

Years have passed, and Intocable has been able to release 25 albums, with "Modus Operandi" as the latest. Released in 2024, the 16-track album is another accordion-driven album from the cowboy-hat donning sextet. As usual, fans expect that this is going to be another successful album. Although it is too early to tell how the album will fare, critics and fans alike have already predicted that this is going to be one of the band's successful records. This would not be surprising as Intocable was able to sell over 50 million albums in their career. That figure alone cements the band's status in the Regional Mexican Music.

This year, join Ricardo (Ricky) Muñoz, René Martínez, Sergio Serna, Johnny Lee Rosas, Alejandro (Alex) Gulmar, and the rest of Intocable as they celebrate their 30th anniversary of bringing Tejano and Norteno music to the mainstream. Catch them on June 15 at Seattle's Moore Theatre for an evening of dancing, singing, and an all-out Mexican party you don't want to miss.
