STG proudly presents: Bill Frisell's 75th Celebration featuring Luke Bergman and Tim Angulo. This exclusive all-star celebration of guitar master's 75th birthday will take the stage of Moore Theater on Friday, March 13, 2026. 

Witness the legendary guitarist whose catalog has been cited as "the best recorded output of the decade"by Downbeat. Frisell is a polymath of the jazz guitar, a protégé of the late great Jim Hall, and was acclaimed by numerous rock and pop luminaries, including Bono, Bonnie Raitt, Paul Simon, Sting, Dr John, Lou Reed and more. His accolades do not stop there. Frisell is named one of America's 21 most vital and productive performing artists, named an inaugural Doris Duke Artist and deservingly received grants from United States Artists and Meet the Composer, among others.

Experience his best hits, played with warm, bell-like tone, effortlessly moving from avant-jazz, Americana or pop. His records 'HARMONY', 'Valentine', 'Four' and 'Orchestras' never ceases to amaze, and they're always a treat to experience live. This upcoming show, Bill Frisell Trio will feature Luke Bergman and Tim Angulo. Luke Bergman, an innovative bassist, composer and producer will give the night more depth. His work with Heartwarmer, Speak, Thousands and The Cuong Vu Group has garnered international acclaim. Seattle holds a special place for him for his artistic and educational efforts and dedication for creative music which became a touchstone for a new generation of Seattle Musicians. Meanwhile, drummer and composer Timothy Angulo is known for his African Diaspora and Classical Music-influenced music. The Berkeley-native musician have wowed audiences in his performance in Detroit Jazz Festival, Bill's Place and more, and will perform with the same gusto during the event.
