The Australian guitarist has been releasing music since 1979. He first came out with From Out of Nowhere released through music label, Trafalgar Records. By 1987, Emmanuel made his incredible breakthrough in his home country. He released Up from Down Under and earned platinum status through ARIA. The effort also entered the Top 50 in the Australian charts, turning it into Emmanuel’s debut on the mainstream scene. In 1993, Emmanuel released his highest charting effort to date. The Journey charted at number 5 and earned a double platinum certification, making it his best selling album of his career. Emmanuel has earned numerous accolades with his incredible work, including an APRA Award, two ARIA Awards, four CMA of Australia, and a Grammy Award for “Folsom Prison Blues.”
