U.S. fans have patiently waited for this very moment... SHINee's KEY is finally serving up his solo debut U.S. tour. In support of his just-released third studio album, "Hunter", Key is sharing new tales, top-notch melodies, and pumped-up energies in what is arguably his best body of work yet. NME praised the album's "incredibly taut and cohesive artistic vision," being one of music critic Carmen Chin's list of the best Korean drops of the year. Inspired by urban legends such as the jangsanbeom, it's a record that packs tons of interesting perspectives and narratives. The album has definitely cemented Key's name as a major disruptor not only in K-Pop, but in pop music in general. Going global, the man sure is ready to conquer the stage.
"I wanted to go back to what I really want to do, and this is it. It is something I had been putting off for a long time," he shared via The Korea Herald.
Blowing away the heat as the album came out in summer in South Korea, he's sent chills down everyone's spine. Talking about its title track, "The song is about one's internal conflict rather than monsters like zombies or ghosts... But the song feels eerie and symbolizes that the 'hunter' figure is actually part of the person's own self."
Showing a different side of himself, he definitely took everyone by surprise.... in the best way possible. Spooked up and ready to go. Creating a record that he's been putting off for a while now, his fans are definitely proud to see the artist take on his truest self, and pushing boundaries in the music he creates.
Bringing energies of mystery, wonder, and bangin' beats, Key is serving hard vibes like never before. At his live shows, get ready to go all out as he shares top-notch performances, big surprises, and tons of unforgettable memories with all his fans. Don't miss out by booking your tickets now!
