The platinum selling album went to number 1 on Billboard’s Top Blues Rock chart and made its debut on the Billboard 200. Shepherd rose to prominence in his early teens and was dubbed as a child prodigy at age 13. He eventually led a successful career after launching the Kenny Wayne Sheperd band, earning five Grammy nominations, a couple Billboard Music Awards, and earning several platinum certifications for his studio albums.
