And coming to the stage next? COLTRANE 100: the John Coltrane honorary jazz crew that keeps his name alive and the music sounding more than alright - is coming to town on their new tour! Welcoming in the Coltrane 100 Both Directions at Once tour, the group will be here on Tuesday April 14th for a once in a lifetime show - honoring the life of Coltrane, and inspiring a new generation of jazz lovers out there in the world! This is OUR chance to see the once in a century artist, to celebrate the birthday of Coltrane! The all star collective is taking the stage for a series of shows across the country, giving us a spiritual, high-octane, atmospheric deep-dive into the music that changed jazz forever. With stops at major cultural hubs and historic theatres, this tour is shaping up to be the jazz moment of 2026 - and lucky us, Seattle gets one of the most intimate, iconic nights on the calendar. And lucky for you, we got your tickets right here ready for you to enjoy! 

So who’s carrying the Coltrane torch these days? Who’s on stage between the haze and playing the piano just like the old days?! Oh, just a lineup of jazzy heavyweights who know the scene. Joe Lovano and Melissa Aldana on saxophones - two of the best bass players whose tone alone could crack open the sky have joined forces with pianist Nduduzo Makhathini, bassist Linda May Han Oh, and the legendary Jeff “Tain” Watts on drums. Musicians who have trained across the world and generations to become Coltrane connoisseurs, disciples, and innovators of his music. Bringing it back to us and a magical fashion, they’ll be diving into his music like they’re the ones who made it’ll be emotional, it’ll be electric, and we’ll be making sure the speakers are on full volume. They’ll be delving into Coltrane classics from eras across his career: the modal days, the spiritual suites, the Atlantic Records burners, the deep cuts, and the cosmic improvisations that pushed jazz into a new dimension. If you’ve ever wanted to hear “Naima,” “Impressions,” “My Favorite Things,” or even the A Love Supreme motifs reimagined by today’s fiercest jazz minds? This is your night to hear it all again live and in person, our night to have the best times ever in the crowd!
