The line between Ron Swanson and Nick Offerman is incredibly blurry! It's one of the cases, though, where the character was built around an existing persona! What we mean by that is, Nick Offerman was on that path, but Ron Swanson just put a lot more fuel on the fire. The man's man persona that you love from the show is basically what you're going to see live. It's a brand of comedy that's super hard to pull off because when you're running a bit at some point, people catch on. Yet Nick Offerman and Ron Swanson have been living in the same skin for so long now that it's just part of who they are.
As mentioned, you could've picked a better date to have Nick Offerman headline at this venue. There's just so much material that he can pull from Valentine's Day. The hope is that he'll be willing to go off script and make this show extra special for the fans here in Seattle. Nick Offerman loves steak, and it would be rare to see him leave any meat on the bone! If anyone understands the opportunity that is upon him, it's exactly Nick Offerman. All you have to do is show up and enjoy what's lining up to be an incredible performance.
Comedy makes the front of the theater all the more appealing. At most shows, being too close to the stage means you're looking up at people's feet. There's some of that in a comedy set, but it brings a closeness to the performer that you wouldn't get on the upper levels. It also means that Nick Offerman can spot you, and he might have a few things to say. It adds to the experience for sure, but at the end of the day, the good news is that pretty much any spot inside The Moore can offer decent visibility.
