The K&D Sessions 25th Anniversary World Tour

We’re in for a treat here at The Moore Theatre this Fall. Moore Theatre, one of the staple venues of Seattle and showcasing some of the most eclectic and diverse talent in the world, is so excited to welcome Kruder and Dorfmeister this September as they take on the world for the 25th Anniversary of their K&D Sessions tape. Dubbed The K&D Sessions 25th Anniversary World Tour, the boys will be hitting stops all over the world with this one - including House of Blues Boston, Auditorium Theatre in in Chicago, Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, Fabrique in Milan, Royal Hall in London, and of course - right here at Moore Theatre for all us West Coasters with a passion for trip hop and ambient electronica. 

Kruder and Dorfmeister, AKA Peter Kruder and Richard Dorfmeister, are the Vienna born jazzstep Dj crew who have inspired countless contemporary artists and disc jockeys around the world - though who you may have never heard of until now. They met in Vienna’s underground music scene, connecting over their shared love of reggae and club tracks, and began working together to create atmospheric, groove infused cinematic sounds for all of Europe. Since then, they’ve given us some of the most eclectic remixes and flips of classic hip hop and d&b songs since 1993. They are the masters of slow and lush beats - I mean, they’re even responsible for some of the early 2000s Nokia ringtones that came with the phone. They are the ones who brought the Vienna sound to the world - and also are responsible for fostering a chillstep revolution around the globe at the turn of the century. Seeing them live is a must if you want to see masters at work, or if you just love eclectic sounds and want a taste of late 90s Europe in your eardrums.
